A quick graph to capture our recent experience with the US, Swiss and German tax systems in submitting our 2010 income tax returns.  By fairness I don’t mean the level of taxes, but rather the sense you get about the process based on the questions asked, the number and types of deductions allowed, the amount of fine print and font size used in the forms, and number of times “judgement” seems required etc…

Note: both Swiss and German tax forms and instruction manuals are of course in German.
